As an electronics & FPGA engineer, you will work on the next generation of our flight-proven avionics, advance the production chain automatization, perform avionics qualification, and work on R&D in a number of fields (radiation, motor control, power regulation, ASICs, and more). In the avionics team we advance fast, focusing on prototyping and rapid validation; however, we also take extra care where it matters, creating procedures and other documentation to support and verify our efforts. This role will require you to be an integral part of the space system lifecycle, from support to eventually leading projects.
MUST HAVE
- Degree in Electronics, ICT, Computer sciences or similar
- Extensive knowledge and industry experience in electronics and FPGA design
- Expertise in FPGA design, verification, validation and prototyping (VHDL, Verilog and associated development/simulation tools)
- Experience with electronic design software (Altium, LTSpice and similar), as well as good electronics debugging skills: in general, we like working with people who have a hands-on approach
- Interest in new trends and developments within your field of expertise and space technology, high reliability/fault-tolerant system development
- Fluency in English
DESIRED
- Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles, especially in the space sector
- Systems engineering skills (requirement definition all the way to testing)
- Soldering skills and enthusiasm to help in everyday technical challenges
- Space system qualification experience
